Domitilla Bonanni (1998) is a photographer born and raised in Rome, who moved to Milan in 2020.
Her work focuses on the observation of the ordinary, transforming it into the extraordinary through
a reportage style with an authorial and narrative approach.
Color is a central element in her visual language, used with warm and saturated tones to explore
the interaction between light, the human figure, and the environment. This chromatic investigation
intertwines with experimentation, merging aesthetic and content while integrating different
expressive mediums, from photography to videography.
Her portfolio includes publications of her street photography works on Effe4.0 and in the book
Streets Journey in Italy published by ISP. In 2024, her work “Pericolo di caduta nel vuoto” was
exhibited in the group show “Roccia, su Fino alla Vetta” at the Istituto Italiano di Fotografia.
